The story
Springdale is where the corridor ends and Zion begins — the town presses right up against the park's south entrance. It's the most visitor-ready of the six: galleries, restaurants, outfitters, and hotels line the main drag, and the free Zion Canyon shuttle picks up here in season so you can leave the car behind.
It's the natural launch point for the park's headline hikes and the place to eat well after a long day on the trails.
Things to do here & nearby
- Zion National Park — the south entrance is right in town
- Zion Canyon shuttle — seasonal, car-free access up the canyon
- Galleries & dining — the corridor's deepest food and art scene
- Watchman & Pa'rus trails — accessible hikes from the visitor center
